Where Charles Richet documented phenomena and Carl G. Jung articulated psychological consequences, Spirit ID introduces method. Here, Metapsychics Science™ formally emerges as a new field—positioned at the intersection of metapsychics and psychology—defined by the requirement of empirical validation of individual consciousness beyond biological death.

Conceptual Note

Where quantum physics shows that measurement and phenomenon cannot be separated, the concept of the psykoid suggests an ontological background level in which both psyche and matter are manifestations of the same underlying structure.

The Missing Horizon of Responsibility

Jung observed that when a society loses its metaphysical orientation, psychic contents do not disappear. They regress into the unconscious and return in distorted, often destructive forms. The loss of transcendence does not liberate the psyche; it destabilizes it. From this perspective, the widespread assumption that consciousness ends at death may itself contribute to the psychological conditions Jung warned against.
